Well, my mom and dad left this morning.
My mom has been amazing this past week. Having her here to help with meals, cleaning, laundry and most importantly, Keilan, has been a true blessing! My mom is really great. She isn't nosey, she doesn't "redo" my house/parenting, and she doesn't force her opinions on me - I hope I can be a mother like that! She has allowed me to be me - a "tom-boy," a young bride, a crazy mother and a distant child (we live 18 hours away from each other!).
Anyway, if you think to pray for us this week, please do. We've had lots of people offer to bring meals and take Keilan to the park (very cool!), but I'm sure there will be many moments of fatigue and frustration as we adjust to "normal" life with two kids. I know that God has more work to do in my heart (I'm still far too selfish and at times unable to accept things that don't fit into my neat and tidy "molds"
. Oh the smell of singed flesh from the refiner's fire!
