It's official!  I am on maternity leave!!  Sunday was my first day "off" (whatever "off" means for a mother and wife! ).  I was expecting a much more exhilerating sensation on my first day off - like pins and needles or shivers all over - but nothing like that happened.  However, I would have been working the night shift so having a normal sleeping pattern ALL weekend was wonderful! 

I have a whole list of things to accomplish in the next two weeks none of least is spend lots of time playing with Keilan.  You know, it's kind of sad for me to think that Keilan and I have only 10 more days just the two of us.  I never expected to enjoy being a mother as much as I do - Keilan has brought SO much joy into my life, it overwhelms me at times.  The best part is I'm beginning to understand that God delights in ME in many of the same ways...what an amazing God we serve!
