Believe it or not I'm writing this from Elmira.  As a late Christmas present to my mom, my dad flew me and the kids home for a surprise visit.  And what a surprise it was!!!  My mother was completely and utterly SHOCKED!  I sent the boys up to ring the door bell and my dad and I waited behind the corner and she nearly fell over when she answered the door.  I don't know if I will ever be able to replicate that moment...it was something else!

 

So, sorry to all of you who live close by to my parents.  It would have been lovely to see you all...but we'll be back in just a few weeks...Nathan too!
