I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. ~Charles Dickens

A new "freedom"

With Chad (he's in town for the day and happened to be at the right place at the right time!) as my witness, I can truly say that January 1, 2006 marks the day that Caleb crawled for the first time.  He crawled about 6 feet toward a bucket of toys he desperately wanted.  I always get those wonderful tingles down the back of my neck and on the top of my head (is that weird?) when my kids do something for the first time.

I suppose this is a small taste of freedom, although he will now experience BOUNDARIES to his freedom - baracades at staircases, locks on doors, many shiny things moved out of reach and even sight...  He's on the move...look out world!
